care to the most advanced specialized treatment. Houston Medical Center offers
a full range of medical services and continues to add more. The Laparoscopic
Surgery Center of Excellence performs progressive, state-of-the-art procedures
by board certified surgeons. Affiliated with the Emory Heart Center, it is
a complete cardiac catheterization laboratory specializing in the diagnosis
and treatment of heart disease.
In addition to Houston Medical Center, Houston Healthcare Complex offers
additional services including the Houston Health Pavilion offering a variety
of services including the Pavilion Rehabilitation Center for physical therapy,
occupational therapy and sports medicine; the Pavilion Diagnostic and Education
Center with bone densitometry and mammography services; and the Pavilion
Counseling and Psychological Services Center.
Perry Hospital offers primary and
specialized health care services including a Surgery Center, offering
the latest in laparoscopy and endoscopy and Family Beginnings, a maternity
center featuring six LDRP birthing suites.
The walk-in facilities for minor illnesses and emergencies, the Parkway and
Pavilion Med-Stops are staffed by physicians and registered nurses and offer
on-site laboratory and x-ray services.
